WAIVER OF LIABILITY

All participants must read and comply with the rules for grape-stomping!

*Be advised that grape-stomping will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, upon completion of this document, which is mandatory to participate.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in grape-stomping at the Harford County Wine Festival (hereinafter the “Activity”), as well as my voluntary election to participate in this Activity, I do hereby waive any liability claims, and release and forever discharge Rockfield Manor, Inc., both individually and trading as The Harford County Wine Festival, its officers, agents, trustees, volunteers, board members, and/or employees, and The Town of Bel Air (hereinafter “Releasees”), from any and all demands, rights, and causes of action, of whatever kind or nature, arising out of all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, bodily and personal injuries, damages to property, and the consequences thereof, resulting from my voluntary participation in or in any way connected with the Activity.

Assumption of Risk: I understand that there are various potential risks associated with the Activity. I understand the potential risks involved and voluntarily choose to participate in the Activity. I acknowledge, know, understand and appreciate these and other risks that are inherent in the Activity, and I hereby acknowledge by my participation in the Activity that I knowingly am assuming all such risks.

Photo/Media Release: I understand that photographs and videos may be taken during the Activity, and I grant permission for my image and likeness to be used for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes without compensation. I hereby freely and irrevocably grant to Releasees the absolute right and permission to copy, exhibit, copyright, use, take, distribute and/or publish my photographic likeness, name, voice, and/or image made in relation to my participation in the Activity in photographs, video, and in any and all other media, in which I may be included, in whole or in part, made through any media for art, print, web, social media, advertising, film, telecast, or any other lawful purpose whatsoever.

Event Rules: I agree to follow all instructions and safety rules provided by event staff and/or volunteers assisting with the Activity. I understand that event staff and/or volunteers may remove me from the activity if I am acting in an unsafe or inappropriate manner that could foreseeably, in the judgment of event staff and/or volunteers, endanger myself or others.

Physical Ability: I confirm that I am physically able to safely participate in this Activity.

Acknowledgement of Understanding: I have read this waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement, and fully understand its terms. I certify that I am twenty-one (21) years of age or over and suffering from no known legal disabilities; I acknowledge that I am signing the agreement freely and voluntarily and intend by my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
